Michael Dell “looks forward” to the new switch data center

Data center provider Switch is building a new data center next to Dell Technology’s global headquarters in Round Rock, Texas. Dell will sell the land to Switch, which will build a large 1.5 million square foot campus that may be equipped with Many Dell products.
Dell and Las Vegas-based Switch initially established a partnership with FedEx in November to develop multi-cloud edge infrastructure services to bring computing, storage and connectivity to the edge. Dell provides hardware and managed services. Then in May, Switch announced its plan to enter the Texas market by acquiring Data Foundry including Austin and Houston data centers for $420 million.
Michael Dell, the founder, chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies, said that he “looks forward” to creating new Switch products for customers.
